About CAIO
The Canada Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (CAIO) is a Canadian AI education organization dedicated to building a responsible, inclusive, and academically meaningful AI learning community for youth across Canada.
CAIO supports students through learning programs, mentorship, projects, competitions, and community partnerships. We aim to help young people develop technical skills, creativity, critical thinking, and an understanding of the ethical and social impact of artificial intelligence.
Founded by educators, researchers, and professionals in AI-related fields, CAIO works with schools, universities, industry mentors, and community partners to create high-quality learning and growth opportunities for students.
Our goal is to inspire the next generation of Canadian AI innovators and help students explore, learn, and contribute responsibly in the age of AI.

An introductory AI competition for middle school students, designed to build foundational knowledge, problem-solving skills, and early innovation in artificial intelligence.
Canada AI Olympiad (CAIO)
A national academic AI competition for high school students that develops advanced technical skills, scientific thinking, and pathways to international AI Olympiad (IAIO) participation.
